"Well, I’ll have to pay you back then. What would you say to…dinner in Paris tonight?"
"That sounds perfect." she said leaning over and pressing a kiss to his lips. "I love you." she reminded him.
Remember when DC had one of the most iconic couples of pop culture time?
Remember when they had the OTP to end all OTPs.
Remember when Lois and Clark were married?
FLIPS A TABLE.
Clark wrinkled his nose, before kissing hers. “Aw, darn. Well, I certainly can’t argue with that.”
She kissed him softly, “That’s okay, I’ll let you love me slightly less than I love you. So long as you don’t love anyone more than me. With the exception of your mother.”
Clark shrugged playfully, kissing the top of her head and rocking her back and forth. ” I don’t know, Lois; I mean, I am Superman, after all.”
"And I’ve killed the biggest story of anyone’s career, ever, that’s how much I love you." she reminded him.
Clark closed his eyes, smiling softly and wrapping his arms around her. “I love you more, city girl.”
She melted against him, pressing her head against his chest. “Impossible. Literally impossible to love anyone more than I love you.”
"Right, right; of course he did. Well, I’m not one to disappoint the Chief, so…:" And without another word he scooped her up in his arms and kissed her with all he could muster.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back with everything she had, her hand burying themselves in his thick black hair. She pulled away, pressing her forehead against his, “I love you, Smallville.”
"An order? You want a kiss from little old me?”
"An order. Didn’t you hear the chief give it? He said, you better make sure Kent gives you a kiss. I didn’t question it."
